And saw this. I've read a LOT of PND posts in my years as a blogger. And this one I honestly love for it's clever broader take. Brilliant. I gave in and went to the doctors last week and she's put me on cerelle (the pill) which should hopefully regulate my hormones throughout the month and kick the migraines away! But moving on to more serious things... This is really lovely. It is so easy to have a view of something & later realise with the benefit of experience that it may not have been what you thought. Interestingly, I did hate Mondays, as most people do, when I worked, but have never disliked them so much as a SAHM. Being completely honest, I have probably preferred the weekdays, not the weekends. But I'm sure that depends upon the circumstances of your home, and whether the weekends equal more support or more hassle. Now I am a newly single parent, and there is really very little difference between week days and weekends for me at all - every day is pretty similar. #fartglitterAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13006727330831002627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654200420086509773.post-79897434675594796772016-08-26T15:06:39.971+01:002016-08-26T15:06:39.971+01:00That's such a lovely post to Bob. I think until you are in a similar situation yourself, it's only then that you can really realise. Mondays not my fav day either. Soon enough, the methods you criticised, you may well end up doing yourself because they work and we do what works! Since becoming a parent I see life so differently. When anxiety took over my life it was so hard not to hold too tight to my husband. I am so much more compassionate now and I don't judge what I do not know. Beautifully written! I've also gone back and apologized to people that I have tutted and criticized before I had my own children. Beautifully written and honest post.
